If the death of an individual is caused by the fault of another, a claim for wrongful death can be brought by the heirs.

 

A claim can be made for the loss of financial support including the lost wages and household services and the loss of the love and affection.  A claim can also be made for funeral expenses and any medical expenses incurred.
